With more than 15 years of experience across consumer, business and technology public relations, Brian Baumley is principal of BLB Communications, which he founded in 2008. Brian’s focus at BLB includes developing and executing strategic communications campaigns that position his clients as industry leaders and visionaries to boost market awareness, drive thought leadership and increase sales.

Specializing in cable, mobile, media and technology, Brian has supported PR efforts for leading global companies with a focus on telecom software (Ericsson, This Technology, Vasona Networks, Telcordia, Camiant) and hardware (BigBand Networks, Motorola), business services delivery (Cablevision Lightpath), market research and consulting (Gartner, IBB Consulting),  consumer electronics (JVC, Panasonic) and mobile/Web properties (Shazam, Joost, Market7, OneWire, Soundflavor, Snac).

A tech enthusiast since childhood, Brian develops a comprehensive understanding of products and services he represents and frames in the context of existing and emerging market trends. This informs highly-targeted programs that include corporate positioning, messaging, branding, press/analyst relations, product launches and thought leadership campaigns.

Previously, Brian managed public relations for Telcordia, spent two years with Cohn & Wolfe (WPP), four years with Euro RSCG Worldwide PR (Havas) and two years with MRM Worldwide (Interpublic Group).
